Google Hash Code 2020: ACM-DSC UPV Hub

Hash Code es un concurso de programación por equipos organizado por Google y abierto a estudiantes y profesionales de todo el mundo.

Este año ACM y el Google Developer Student Club UPV, apoyados por Everis, organizan conjuntamente un Hub para competir desde la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.

Los participantes forman equipos de 2 a 4 personas, eligen un lenguaje de programación y Google plantea uno de sus problemas de ingeniería para que lo resuelvan.

La competición se desarrolla en dos fases:

• Ronda de clasificación online (este evento) • Ronda final presencial

Los equipos con la mejor puntuación en la ronda de clasificación online serán invitados por Google para competir presencialmente en la ronda final.

¡¡¡IMPORTANTE!!!

Todos los participantes deben registrarse en https://codingcompetitions.withgoogle.com/hashcode antes del 17 de febrero, escogiendo 'ACM-DSC UPV Hub' en el momento de la inscripción.

¡No olvides tu portátil! Para resolver el desafío propuesto por los ingenieros de Google tendrás que utilizar tu ordenador y el lenguaje de programación y las herramientas que tú elijas.

Si no tienes cuenta de UPVNET o EDUROAM, necesitarás una cuenta de acceso temporal para poder conectarte a la red. Si ese fuera el caso indícanos por favor tu nombre, apellidos y número de DNI (o de pasaporte o equivalente) en el momento de hacer el RSVP, para que podamos tramitarte el acceso para el día del evento.

Los equipos puede participar desde cualquier lugar, pero hacerlo desde un Hub como el de ACM-DSC UPV siempre resulta más emocionante. Además, ¡habrá pizza para los asistentes cortesía de Everis!

Agenda:

• 18:00: Apertura de puertas y preparación • 18:30: Comienza la transmisión en vivo • 18:45: Comienza la ronda de clasificación • 22:30: Final de la ronda de clasificación

Hash Code is a team programming competition organized by Google for students and industry professionals around the world.

This year ACM and the Google Developer Student Club UPV, supported by Everis, jointly organize a Hub to compete from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

You form a team of 2 to 4 people, pick your programming language and Google poses an engineering problem for you to solve.

The competition takes place over two rounds:

• Online Qualification Round (this event) • Final Round

Top scoring teams from the Online Qualification Round will be invited by Google to compete in the Final Round of the competition!

IMPORTANT!!!

All participants must register at https://codingcompetitions.withgoogle.com/hashcode before February 17, choosing the 'ACM-DSC UPV Hub' at the time of registration.

Do not forget your laptop! To solve the challenge proposed by the Google engineers you'll have to use your own computer and the programming language and tools of your choosing.

If you don't have a UPVNET or EDUROAM account, you will need a temporary access account in order to connect to the network. If this were the case, please indicate your name, surname and passport number (or equivalent) at RSVP time, so we can arrange the temporary access for the day of the event.

Teams can participate from anywhere, but doing it from a Hub like ACM-DSC UPV is always more exciting. Besides, there will be pizza for the attendees courtesy of Everis!

Your team will be tasked with solving a challenge created by Google engineers using your own computer and programming language and tools of your choice, so don't forget your laptop!
